"I did not want to go out. I just did not, very seldom would I take my son out, and my daughter at that time, too. To feel not adequate to the other mothers that are playing in a simple playground with their children and you felt, or I felt when I went out on the playground that I was maybe being mocked. Or, whether or not they were whispering about me, I felt that way. You know, ‘look at her face’ and ‘oh that poor thing’ and, whatever they were saying, or even if they weren’t, that’s how I felt. It was so bad that it hurt to lay on it. The looks that I would get from people, comments … you know I would go into a beauty salon and they’d want to know what the rash was on my face. It was just absolutely horrible. I got the Proactiv package and I was excited to start it. That first evening I felt a difference in my skin. Both of my kids have come up to me and said, ‘Mommy, you’re beautiful.’ And that makes...a world of difference to me...
